Doula Services located in Green Bay, Wi.

The word "Doula" comes from the ancient Greek meaning "a woman who serves" and is now used to refer to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and just after birth; or who provides emotional and practical support during the postpartum period.

After experiencing two different births, one which did not adhere to my birth plan and one which did.  Then after experiences so many health and feeding issues with my second child, I decided this was the route I wanted to go.  I believe all women are worth having a voice and someone to support them totally, during the birthing process.

I especially wish I had a Doula for my first birth.  I was in labor for 18 hours.  There were decisions made, that if I had a doula present, probably would have made the experience easier.  My nurses were wonderful but not there to support me emotionally.  That is what I want to do for new parents. I will be an emotional rock.
I have taken a special interest in infertility support.  While I am not a Doctor I can support you in your journey, where ever it may take you.

I am also here to support the expecting and postpartum
Mother, their partner, and the growing family.  I am happy to assist in breastfeeding assistance, or just to be there to calm a stressful moment.

As a Doula I am here to serve.

  • Did you know that partners go through labor, too?
  • Partners also get sleepy (doulas are used to pulling all-nighters)
  • Partners get hungry (doulas can go for snack runs)
  • Partners get emotional (doulas are objective)
  • Most partners have never seen their loved one go through such an intense physical experience before (doulas know the difference between I can’t do this shrieks vs. I’m in the zone, low deep moans)  5
